Dr. Mateo Andro R. Geronimo is an Ophthalmologist with 16 years of specialized experience in Advanced Cataract, Cornea, and Refractive Surgery. His expertise lies in helping patients achieve clear vision through state-of-the-art procedures, including Advanced IOLs, Corneal Transplants, LASIK, and Implantable Lenses.
Dr. Geronimo earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Santo Tomas. He completed his Ophthalmology Residency at The DOH Eye Center-East Avenue Medical Center in 2013, graduating with the distinction of Chief Resident.
To further his expertise, he pursued international Fellowship Training in Cornea and Refractive Surgery at the prestigious Tan Tock Seng Hospital in Singapore in 2015.
Dr. Geronimo holds certifications for Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL) procedures from Swissmed International and has completed dedicated LASIK training at both the Singapore National Eye Centre and Shinagawa LASIK and Aesthetic Center.
A respected voice in his field, Dr. Geronimo serves as a key opinion leader, delivering lectures to fellow eye doctors throughout the Philippines. He is a Diplomate of the Philippine Board of Ophthalmology, a Fellow of the Philippine Cornea Society and the Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology, and a founding member of the Refractive Surgery Society of the Philippines.
