Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus
Dra. Angela Therese Uy is a Pediatric Ophthalmologist, Strabismus Specialist, and Comprehensive Ophthalmologist dedicated to providing specialized and compassionate eye care for children and adults alike.
She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Santo Tomas (UST) and completed her postgraduate internship at the University of the Philippines – Philippine General Hospital (UP-PGH). Dra. Uy underwent her residency training in Ophthalmology at the Department of Health Eye Center – East Avenue Medical Center (DOH Eye Center – EAMC), where she also completed her fellowship training in Advanced Cataract Surgery and Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.
Throughout her career, she has received numerous awards and recognitions and has successfully passed the Philippine Physician Licensure Examination as well as the International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO) Exams in Optics, Refraction and Instrumentation, and Visual Sciences. She also completed the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s Ophthalmic Knowledge Assessment Program (OKAP) International Exam, and is a Diplomate of the Philippine Board of Ophthalmology.
In addition to her clinical work, Dra. Uy has conducted multiple research studies and continues to participate in seminars and training programs to stay updated with the latest developments in her field.
