Medical and Surgical Retina

Dr. Pilones-Alidon is a board-certified Ophthalmologist specializing in Medical and Surgical Retina. She earned her medical degree at the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health. She then underwent her residency training in Ophthalmology at the DOH Eye Center- East Avenue Medical Center, where she also completed her fellowship training in Medical and Surgical Retina. Dr. Pilones-Alidon is a Diplomate of the Philippine Board of Ophthalmology and of the Philippine Association of Ophthalmologists. She specializes in the diagnosis and management of complex vitreo-retinal diseases, and provides comprehensive eye care including medical and surgical treatment of conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, macular disorders, and other retinal conditions. Vitreoretina is a specialized branch of Ophthalmology focused on the care of diseases affecting the vitreous and retina. It involves advanced diagnostic techniques, laser procedures, and surgical interventions to preserve and restore vision.
